As a member of our team, you will be part of an international community of technology enthusiasts working on cross-disciplinary projects within our organization. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining cutting-edge cloud-based solutions, contributing to our company's digital transformation.
Your mission at Krones.digital:
- Designing, implementing, and optimizing the AWS infrastructure to support our IIoT platform and various services provided on top of it, ensuring high availability, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain serverless architectures using AWS services like Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, Kinesis, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, Aurora, Step Functions, CloudFront, IoT, SSM, Greengrass (for AWS Lambda you will be mainly using Python and TypeScript).
- Designing, implementing frontend applications using Angular and React frameworks and TypeScript language.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including UX designers, security engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth development and delivery of our IoT platform.
What are you bringing to Krones.digital?
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Previous experience with Product web development (functionalities, enterprise level, not only infrastructure, but scalable, multi-tenant solutions)
- 4+ years of Cloud Experience (AWS/Azure)
- Architecture (microservices, interservice communication bus, APIs), event-driven architecture
- Programing languages / frameworks:
- Backend: Python, Typescript
- Frontend: React, Angular 9+
- Knowledge of Scrum or Kanban methodologies
- Good command of English (Czech is not required)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and strategically
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining relationships across the organization
- Additional knowledge you will have an opportunity to use (but we do not require): Security, DevOps, Testing, Versioning, Documentation, TDD (Test Driven Design), DDD (domain driven design), SOLID, Jenkins, GIT, CI/CD, IoT, Docker

Štěpán Eret (Cloud Development Group Lead)
Štěpán has 17 years of software development experience. He started as a C++/C#/.NET developer developing MES systems, and for the last 4 years focused on the development of our IIoT platform based on AWS. Štěpán has been working within the organization for a little over 8 years now, and gradually moved from the role of software developer to team lead, and then to a group leader.
