Your mission: 

  • Test automation of industrial software in all stages of the software development process within the HMI layer.
  • Design, implementation and maintance of a automation framework for desktop applications.
  • Development of automation test strategies, including defining test objectives, scope, approach, and automation coverage.
  • Integration of automation testing into the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring that automated tests run seamlessly.
  • Structured documentation of testing procedures, results, and findings.
  • Definition of test scenarios in close coordination with the development team and product owners.
  • Priorization of error cases in close coordination with development teams and product or technical owners.
  • Contact person for test methods and test tools for stakeholders and development teams.

What are you bringing to us? 

  • Successfully completed training or studies (IT, MINT) or comparable.
  • Sound experience in the field of automated testing of desktop applications.
  • Good knowledge of software development with .Net desirable.
  • Experience in setting up test environments in an industrial environment desirable.
  • Knowledge of automation systems desirable (e.g. PLC knowledge Siemens).
  • Knowledge of tools such as Xray, Jira, Jenkins, and ideally also Visual Studio, Git desirable.
  • Proficiency in interpreting user stories and converting them into comprehensive test cases to validate software functionality.
  • Ability to execute test cases, analyze results, and report defects effectively.
  • Excellent analytical skills and reliable and extremely accurate way of working.
  • High degree of team spirit and self-motivation.
  • Very good written and spoken English skills (B2).
  • Experience of working within and with agile teams (Scrum).
  • Willingness for business trips to Germany.
