About the Role: An exciting opportunity for a skilled Manager/Leader to join our Engineering management team at Konplan.

 

Your tasks:

Management & Leadership

  • Implementation of the uniform philosophy, standards and strategy of the division in accordance with the department and the company
  • Implementation of group and division goals taking into account corporate strategy
  • Implementation of corporate values ​​and giving direction to employees
  • Disciplinary management of the division (leading the sub-groups) taking into account costs and efficiency
  • Ensuring the competence level in the group, focus on electrical/mechanical engineering, design and development
  • Performance assessment at team and employee level
  • Identifying of potential for improvement (across the board)

Customers & Performance Management

  • Ensuring of error-free operational order processing in terms of deadlines, costs and quality and in line with annual operational planning
  • Mid- and long-term resource coordination with KAG managers
  • Ensuring of on time invoicing of the provided services; in case of discrepancies, coordination with KAG

Expertise

  • Identify and implement improvement measures to reduce errors, increase quality and adherence to deadlines

 

Your profile:

  • Preferably successfully completed technical University studies (alternatively Secondary School)
  • Several years of relevant professional experience in a comparable position (Engineering)
  • Strong networking skills with ability to build up trust relations with internal and external stakeholders
  • Professional communication in accordance with international standards
  • Strategic planning expertise
  • Collaborative mindset with a proven track record of taking ownership and driving results
  • Strong conceptual and analytical thinking ability - to assess the team´s effectiveness in achieving strategic goals
  • Very good command of English / German as second foreign language advantage
  • Willingness to travel to Germany
